On Friday, February 7, Seventh Day Adventist Church World Leader, Elder Ted Wilson paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika at the Kamuzu Palace barely 30minutes after landing at the Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
After meeting the Malawi leader, Elder Wilson will attend a Big Sabbath on Saturday at Bingu National Stadium where he is expected to hold a mega evangelism rally to win souls to Christ and help the church to grow.
Ps Wilson will also undertake a number of other engagements during his stay in Malawi to appreciate the work the Church is doing in Malawi.
Famed for his passion in advocating for religious liberty, Wilson is reported to have “commended the spirit of camaraderie he observed [as] the nation continues to heal after genocide claimed the lives of as many as 800,000 people in 1994.”
