Super League Side, the Mighty Be Forward Wanderers Treasurer Dave Pemba has resigned from the post barely hours after being elected.
Pemba was elected on Sunday during team’s main Executive Committee polls which took place on Sunday, 9 February 2020 at the Club’s House in Blantyre.
The polls ended prematurely due to violence after Pemba and Dave Pemba both claimed victors on the position of Club’s Treasurer General.
“I will be just a merely executive member; I would like to thank members and supporters who had trust in me.
I will continue serving the club as an executive member,” said Pemba adding the decision to step-down was influenced by his family members.
During the elections, Simon Sikwese went in unopposed on the post of chairperson.
