The newly elected leader for Armageddon Band has promised to resurrect the Banda with various live performances across the country.
Armageddon Band was founded by veteran musician Billy Kaunda who is now Member of Parliament for Mzimba West Constituency.
Speaking in an Interview with Malawi Voice, the newly elected Band leader Limbani Chibwana said the band will start recruiting new artist as one way of the rebranding process.
Chibwana added that the band will come up with new style this year in order to satisfy its hungry audience.
“We are tired of using the same old style this time around we want our audience to have a taste of new staff,” said Chibwana while promising fireworks in 2020.
Chibwana further said the band will work with veteran artist such as the founder Billy Kaunda, Lydia Girl hit maker Mkakeni Kaunda a well as Innocent Chitimbe.
The Armageddon Band is one of the oldest bands in the country and has produced artists such as the late Jeffrey Zigoma, Lufeyo Zombe and Wiza Kaunda.
