Parliament Meets Next Month For 2020/21 Budget Session

Members of Parliament are expected to start meeting next month for 2020/21 budget session at New Parliament building in Lilongwe.

According to Clerk of Parliament, Fiona Kalemba the 48^th session of parliament will run from 8^th May to 26^th June 2020.

“I have the honor to advise that the 2020/2021 Budget meeting of parliament which will be the 4^th meeting in the 48^th session of parliament, will be held from Friday, 8^th May,” said Fiona memo addressed to cabinet Ministers in MPs.

Minister of Finance Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Joseph Mwanamvekha will present the 2020/21 national budget to the house.
