Malawi Congress Party Former Member of Parliament Juliana Lunguzi has bluntly defied Lazarus Chakwera’s directive for MCP members to deny the existence of Coronavirus and frustrate Government efforts to fight the pandemic.
In a Twitter message, Lunguzi has called on Malawians to “be wise, stay home and stay safe.” Lunguzi is a nurse by professional.
“I’ve made a choice on this Covid-19 issue. Follow updates from PHIM_PublicHealthInstituteofMw not social media. Follow their advise. Mask. Social Distance & Handwashing. Corona is real…The Tests and Deaths are also real. My Malawi Please. StaySafe.” wrote Lunguzi
Chakwera directed his MCP followers to deny Coronavirus and frustrate any fight against the disease so that many Malawians die and blame President Peter Mutharika. Chakwera is working with Saulos Chilima who paid money to HRDC to get an injunction against lockdown. The injunction is a trap to kill Malawians in order for the MCP and UTM leaders to pick it up a political campaign issue against Mutharika.
