By public demand, the July 6 Independence Day Celebrations at Bingu National Stadium have been Cancelled. Chakwera’s son-inlaw who also poses as his Executive Assistant, Sean Kampondeni, has confirmed the development.

Meanwhile Chakwera will give reasons for the cancellation in his address to the nation at 17:00hrs today.
