As DPP continues to face troubled leadership,Members of Parliament have started dumping the Party to support President Chakwera in Parliament, the latest is former Minister of Energy in President Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika administration, Bintony Kusaila who has defected to Independent bench in Parliament.
Rumors are rife that he is one of the 12 MPs from DPP who went secretly to meet President Chakwera at State House last month.
Chakwera is expected to announce his cabinet soon to fill vacancies in the Ministries of Local government and Transport following the deaths of Belekanyama and Mia.
Kusaila has been one of the nomadic leaders in the country. He has changed parties like no other business. He has been to MCP, DPP, PP, MCP, DPP and now to ‘MCP independent’ in that order.
