Geoffrey Kachale Banda, son of former President Dr. Joyce Banda has succumbed to Covid-19 tonight.
He was admitted at Bingu National Stadium Isolation Centre after testing positive to COVID19.
This comes barely few days after another member of Joyce Banda’s family Dr. Elis Kumpukwe also succumbed to Covid-19. Dr. Elis Kumpukwe was a husband to Joyce Banda’s beloved sister Cecelia. He was also a senior PP member at the time of his death.
Few months ago, Joyce Banda told the world that “there is no corona in Malawi” and that then DPP administration was just faking it to run away from polls.
