Former Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Justice James Kalaile has died.
MEC spokesperson Sangwani Mwafulirwa confirmed the development in an interview with Nation Online.
According to the Registrar of the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal, Gladys Gondwe the family of late Justice Kalaile (Retired) is yet to announce burial arrangements.
Justice James Kalaile served as Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson between 1999 and 2004.
