Traditional Authority (T/A) Kabunduli of Nkhatabay District has died after a long battle with diabetes.
TA Kabunduli, real name Goodwin Chiwiwi Mwase, has died at Mzuzu Central Hospital, according to Nkhatabay District Council spokesperson Patrick Botha.
“TA Kabunduli was very rich in Nkhatabay history,” he said.
Kabunduli, who is survived by a wife and six children, was born on July 4, 1954 and was installed as TA in 2018.
Burial arrangements for the late T/A will be communicated later.
