Lilongwe City Council has sealed the entrance to Malawi Congress Party (MCP) headquarters premises in Lilongwe over unpaid city rates.
But in an interview with Zodiak Online MCP spokesperson, Reverend Maurice Munthali, appears unaware of what has happened as he asked for time to comment.
In 2017 the council slapped the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) with a K265 Million bill in unpaid city rates.
The Lilongwe City Council is failing to provide satisfactory public service owing to lack of funds at a time it is owed in billions.
