‘Iponyereninso Kwakuya Ndi Illovo’

Malawi’s leading sugar manufacturer, Illovo Sugar Malawi Plc, has launched ‘Iponyereninso Kwakuya Ndi Illovo’ promotion.

The historical launch took place on Friday at Mount Soche Hotel in the commercial city of Blantyre.

In ‘Iponyereninso Kwakuya Ndi Illovo’ promotionsix illovo sugar consumers will walk home with brand new Nissan NP200 vehicles each.

Speaking during the launch the Managing Director for Illovo Sugar Plc Malawi, Lekani Katandula said the promotion will use MK 140 Million in Prizes.

“I am delighted to announce the 2nd Iponyereni Kwakuya Ndi Illovo promotion which we are now calling Iponyereninso Kwakuya Ndi Illovo.

“I would say last year Tinayiponyera Kwakuya Nde Pano Tayitenga Pamene Tinayisiya Chaka Chatha Ndiku Yiponyeranso Kwakuya Kapena Tinene Kuti Tayivunga ?….

Katandula: We do believe in continuous improvement in everything

I say that lightly but we do believe in continuous improvement in everything we do therefore this is reflected here as well,” said Katandula

The promotion will have three levels of entry; first those who buy and sell sugar in bulk must buy two tons or more and stand a chance of winning one of 6 Nissan NP200 vehicles.

Those who sell packets of sugar to consumers in groceries or our local trader in the market, they need to buy two bales or more of Illovo sugar and stand a chance to win Motorbikes, Bicycles and bags of fertilizer.

While consumers who buy sugar from groceries  will have to buy three kilograms or more of any Illovo sugar and stand a chance of winning cookers, fridges and shopping vouchers.

Six brand new Nissan NP200 vehicles Up For Grabs

“After purchasing write your name and contact number at the back of your MRA/VAT receipt and deposit in entry boxes at participating supermarkets.

“But that is not all we will also run Monthly Instore activations where other prizes will be won instantly including buckets, zitenje, t-shirts and Illovo sugar packets,” said Katandula

Illovo Sugar Malawi Plc supplies more than 60% of its total sugar sales into the domestic consumer and industrial markets, and a portion of the balance exported regionally within the sub-continent.
