Members of Parliament for Chikwawa South Abida Mia and Chikwawa Nkombezi Illyias Karim in partnership with a corporate training company Service Touch have donated 40 mattresses to Ngabu Secondary School in Chikwawa
The development follows news that more than 200 students were sleeping on the floor due lack of mattresses at the school.
The problem of mattresses emanated from a fire that burnt mattresses at the school on the 20th this month.
However, those 40 mattresses will now help to ease the problem.
Meanwhile Honourable Mia has assured the school authorities that all the remaining mattresses for the students will be bought.
