Billionaire Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and spouse Prophetess Mary are this morning appearing before the Lilongwe Magistrate Court to continue hearing their extradition case.
Bushiri’s Spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo said today Magistrate Madalitso Chimwaza is expected to provide fresh directions as to how witnesses should testify in this case.
“The State, you are all aware, is refusing an earlier ruling by the same court to have witnesses come to Malawi physically and testify, saying it’s expensive for South African government to do so,” said Nyondo
However, Lawyers for Prophet Bushiri insist that the earlier court ruling should be respected so that witnesses come to Malawi physically and testify.
So today, Magistrate Chimwaza will provide fresh directions based on these two submissions.
