The Bible is a prophetic book. It contains the prophecies that God spoke through different people and through different mediums to be fulfilled in the future.
None of the Bible prophecies are void of performance.
There are so many prophecies which have already been fulfilled, others are being fulfilled and others are yet to be fulfilled.
But we can rest assured that all the Bible prophecies shall be fulfilled whether we are aware or not.
In this week’s teaching I want us to focus on some of the end time prophecies spoken by Jesus and other servants of God.
I want you to know that the end time prophecy has two sides to it and all these two sides shall be fulfilled. And it is people who fulfills these prophecies.
THE TWO SIDES OF THE END TIME PROPHECY:
1. The negative side of prophecy
This is the side where bad things happen. There are some things that have been said to happen in the last few days which are bad. We will see them as we go
2. The positive side of prophecy
This is the side of prophecy where good things happen.
DOES GOD DECIDE WHO SHOULD BE WHICH SIDE?:
The answer is both YES and NO.
YES-Because he has chosen all of us to belong to him.
NO-0Because God does not force man to make decisions.
So every man chooses the side of prophecy to belong to. We choose through our actions. Not even the devil chooses for us.
So the purpose of this teaching is to help us know which side of prophecy we are and that if by any means we are on the negative side of prophecy
we should wake up and ask for God’s mercy and make some adjustments before it’s too late.
Let me give you this example. It was prophesied right before time that Jesus would be betrayed and crucified. But nowhere in the Bible is it written Clearly that the one to betray him shall be Judas Iscariot.
The evil spirit to possess the betrayal was just moving around seeking for a man or woman whose character can accommodate him. And it happened that it found Judas Iscariot.
That’s why the Bible in Matthew 26:24, Jesus said:
“The son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed. It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
This statement of Jesus shows us that it was not decided by God that the exact person to betray Jesus was ordained to be Judas Iscariot. It could be anyone, just that none of the disciples yielded to the evil spirit of the betrayer.
So what happened at the end? Judas fulfilled prophecy but in a negative way
Today there are those who are also fulfilling Bible prophecies but in a negative way. It’s my prayer that through this teaching God will help us to locate ourselves in the end time Bible prophecies.
So tomorrow we will start to look at those on the negative side of prophecy one by one.
Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the privilege to receive your word today while I have the chance to make things right. Help me to locate myself in the end time Bible prophecy in Jesus name. Speak to my heart and reveal the hidden secrets of my heart so that I can be helped. Amen.
