Akometsi Entertainment collaborates with Girly Diary modeling

Akometsi Entertainment, a Lilongwe based media and entertainment company, has collaborated with Girlydiary, a modeling agency, to work together in production.

According to Kelvin Sulugwe, founder and managing Director of Akometsi, they identified Girlydiariy as a potential partner because of their good reputation.

“We are shooting a lot of music videos for our artists, and to be working with an established modeling agency like Girlydiaries was top on our agenda. They have a very good range of girls that will spice up our videos, besides, we already had a project with them and they are good,” explained Sulugwe.

One of the models from Girlydiary, Buhle Manyathi, said she is excited to work with Akometsi.

“I think we can all see the vision of Akometsi. They have very talented artists who have taken the industry by storm, and to be part of such talent is a good step in my career, all thanks to our management,” explained Manyathi.

Both Akometsi and Girlydiary did not divulge much on the nitty grities of their partnership, but inside sources say they may eventually merge to become one force.

Akometsi also announced that their artist, Pop Young, will be releasing a new project soon. Pop Young is one of the fastest rising artists in Malawi under Akometsi.
