The Indian government has provided essential medicines and supplies to the government of Malawi worth approximately K1 billion.
Indian High Commissioner to Malawi, Shri Subbiah Gopalakrishnan said they have provided the medicines to maintain the cordial relationship that exists between the two countries.
Minister of Health Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda has applauded the Indian government for the support saying it will go a long way in the improvement of the country’s health service delivery.
The medicines will be distributed to all government health facilities and Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM) hospitals.-MBC
