The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), has missed its deadline of releasing results for the 2022/2023 public universities selection.
In one of the messages NCHE sent to one students reads, “Dear (namewithheld), your 2023 PUS application fee payment was received. Your application is being processed and results will be released by end of June 2023.
However, up to now the students are still waiting for the results.
However, last week on its official facebook page, NCHE refuted to have released the results which were circulating on social media.
“We would like to categorically distance ourself from a press release circulating on social media (see below), regarding the release of selection results for the 2022/2023 Public Universities Selection, as it is FAKE,”reads part of the press release.
In the press release, NCHE emphasizes that the selection results have not been released yet, and any claims suggesting otherwise were untrue.
Instead, NCHE said once the results are approved by the respective Councils of the six public universities, they will be officially released through authorized channels.
Some of the authorized channels include the official and verified websites as well as the social media pages of the universities and NCHE.
When contacted, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Council for Higher Education his number went unanswered for so many times.
