Tanzanian President Dr Samia Hassan Suluhu has been granted Freedom of the City of Lilongwe.
The honor was bestowed by the Mayor for Lilongwe City Council (LCC) Councillor Richard Banda.
During the ceremony, Dr Samia Hassan was given a key as a symbol of freedom that permits her to leave at her own will.
She then signed a visitor’s book. Dr Suluhu Hassan has since hailed Malawi for according her excellent hospitality.

Chakwera, Madame Monica Chakwera, Vice President of the Republic of Malawi Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima, Cabinet Ministers, Councillors and other senior government officials.
