“As musicians, we need to work hand in hand in promoting our culture through music as we all know that nowadays many artists do not involve our Malawian music style so I have observed that music has the power of changing all these,” he said

“I’m begging Kalonga to be consistent in releasing the songs because his songs can easily promote music industry here in Malawi due to heavy message that he portrays in his music, I’m expecting good message in his newly yet to release song Golide,” said Mkwate.
In his remarks, one of the music promoters Thomas Madulira, who is also Thom’s Park Event Manager said Kalonga is one of the artists who is performing well in the Music industry but all he needs is support and promotion for him to merge.
“I have known Don Kalonga through his music some years back, to me his music has proved to be international scale but all he needs is to work on music promotion for his music to reach a wide range of people,” He said.
