Traditional Authority Mgulumya of Machinga has died.
Confirming the death, Machinga District Council Publicist Martin Chiwanda said the chief will be buried on Sunday at her headquarters, in Likwenu in the district.
Chief Mgulumya, real name Umia Kawinga was elevated to the Traditional Authority status on July 9 2023.
