President Lazarus Chakwera through the Lilongwe City Council has denied permission to the organizers of the Friday anti-government protests on the high cost of living in the country.
One of the organizers, Bon Kalindo has told Rainbow the Council says the police shall be providing security to SADC meetings.
Meanwhile, Kalindo has obtained a court injunction in Lilongwe and the inter-party hearing on the matter is set for Thursday morning.
