Central Region Division side, Kawinga FC continued it’s good run when they beat TN Stars 2-0 in Chipiku League on Saturday in Kasungu.
Kawinga FC still tops the league table with 22 points and Villa FC come second with 16 points.
Speaking after the game Kawinga FC Coach Harry Saidi said the match with TN Stars was tough considering that the Kasungu based team was beaten in the first round as they wanted a revenge.
Saidi added though his team won, but complained about unfair play as the match had too many fouls that weren’t entertained by the referee and the field of play is in bad state.
“We have done well in our first-two matches in the second round of the competition, though we see some gaps in our team and should deal with that in order to excel.” said Harry Saidi.
Kawinga FC Coach then explained that his side will maintain hard work and focus to help win the upcoming matches. The team is fighting for a place in the top-fright, TNM Super League in the next season
