Kugwa mmanja mwa Yehova, nkuopsa!

BY BASHIR AL BASHIR

Peter, Andrew, and Thomas were fishermen who left their job and became fishers of men. Matthews, son of Alphaeous, was a tax collector, left his job to bring souls to God. Even after Jesus died, these men continued the work and lost their lives for preaching the gospel and testimony of Jesus.

The Levites were sanctified men of the alter. They were tasked to intercede men to God. Levites and most of notable unfallen prophets Elijah, Elisha, Melchizedek, Enoch and greatest men of God died or left in glory whilst blowing the trumpet of God.

One of the temptations devil made to Jesus was giving him the “rule of the world” and “wealth therein ” It is not a sin to be a ruler, neither to be rich but the sanctified must deny the world power and riches for it is easily corrupted. Jona tried to leave the work of God, God punished him through. There was trouble on the water, people lost their properties, there was groaning, crying, and suffering, death was near until Jona realised it was God pursuing him and offered himself to be thrown into the water.

When you have Jona, be assured of trouble on your journey. You lose a lot by keeping Jona in your boat. Whatever Jona touches, it shall sour, whatever he comes close to, it shall be lost, you shall frail, suffer, cry, lose and your bones shall shake until Jona turns back to God. Kugwa mmanja mwa Yehova, nkuopsa. Happy Sunday to all.
