REWARDING EXCELLENCE: Maranatha Academy Takes Students on Flight Adventure

In a gesture that aligns with the Malawi Government’s Best Buy Malawian policy and the national tourism motto, “Tidziyamba ndife aMalawi kukonda dziko lathu,” Maranatha Academy has treated its form four students to a special flight from Lilongwe to Blantyre using Malawi Airlines.

Maranatha Academy said they gave the students a surprise as a reward for being disciplined throughout the duration of writing their Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination.

“It’s been an incredible experience. I have never boarded an aeroplane before. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the Maranatha Academy School Management for this special treat and surprise,” expressed one of the students.

Ernest Kaonga, Managing Director of Maranatha Academy, emphasized the importance of motivating students to achieve exceptional results in national examinations.

“We support the government in providing quality education services. In delivering our services, we identify various ways to motivate students to work harder and excel. Maranatha Academy has always been a pioneer in this regard, as evidenced by our K1 million prizes awarded to each of the six best-performing students in national examinations.

Today, we decided to reward our form four students who just completed their MSCE examination with a flight from Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe to Chileka International Airport in Blantyre,” said Kaonga.

Maranatha Academy not only excels in providing education services but is also dedicated to supporting various initiatives. These include awarding outstanding students from both public and private institutions across the country and promoting women’s empowerment through MBC’s Zokonda Amayi Macheza.

This recent initiative by Maranatha Academy highlights its commitment to fostering academic excellence and creating memorable experiences for its students, setting a benchmark for educational institutions in Malawi.
