Malawian born but South Africa based influential Prophet, Austin Liabunya, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 released a sensitive prophecy concerning the future of President Lazarus Chakwera and his vice Saulos Klaus Chilima.
Speaking from his base in Pretoria through a video recording available on his official facebook page, Liabunya said Chilima will come into power after Chakwera but he will face tough opposition from other parties and the court.
“I can assure you that after Chakwera, Chilima is coming. Saulos Chilima government will even be the best government ever. But, God asked me for intense prayer because other parties will team up.
“They will pressure the courts in order to hinder Dr. Saulos Chilima from standing as president. So Dr. Saulos Chilima will have a very hard tough time. And if he cannot stand and seek the face of God, it will hinder or delay his coming into power after Lazarus Chakwera,” says Liabunya.
The man of God has further said that Chilima will also a strong opponent from a new Kamuzu Banda who is about to rise and his battle for presidency will be so intense.
“It’s very important that Dr. Saulos Chilima must know that it will not be easy. His MAIN fight will be the fight with the court. Court will fight but the will of God will prevail. And the will of God will prevail on a condition that he seeks the face of God concerning his future.
“By the time Dr. Saulos Chilima will be vying for the highest office in the country, a new Kamuzu Banda will rise who will be the biggest rival.
So as Chilima will be fighting court battles, he will also have to fight with the other parties especially the one which will be led by the said Kamuzu Banda II. He will fight Chilima so much; Right, left and centre.
“But as I said the government of Chilima will be more advanced than even the government of Chakwera. But right now the government of Chakwera will become the best as compared to the previous regimes,” he said.
Liabunya said there was a possibility that Chilima might come sooner than the expected time but on a condition which the man of God said will be divulged later.
Liabunya also took time to advise President Chakwera to quickly fill the top positions in government departments that fell vacant through dissolution soon after he assumed the presidency.
The man of God warned the president against too much consultation when making decisions saying “too much consultation is poisonous.”
On the emerging hostility between the supporters of UTM and Malawi Congress Party (MCP), the Prophet said the relationships between Chakwera and Chilima is just good but some few opportunists from UTM are being sent by the former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to bring confusion in the Tonse Alliance.
Liabunya fired a warning shot to those bringing confusion for personal gains that very soon they will be exposed and will be expelled from the political parties in the Tonse Alliance.
He said DPP and other opposition parties are working underground to frustrate the efforts of Tonse Alliance by bringing tension in their Tonse Alliance and also feeding the donor community with misleading information.
Commenting on Covid-19, Liabunya said the virus “is gone” arguing it was a test for the new government just as God tested some Men of God including Jesus in the Bible.

Its not clear how chilima is going to take over power from this prophecy. Its also strange to note that the judiciary that favours this guy will turn its back on him. How can covid be declared as gone and yet only today malawi registered 22 new cases and so far it’s claimed about 170 lives? This is not the true picture on the ground because this current administration is shying away from conducting more tests. This kind of sayings is putting vulnerable lives in great danger because people have completely abandoned face masks and are saying there was no such a thing as covid. The media here is also busy telling lies on this virus. People must tread very carefully because if not this is when more and more will be infected. Remember only few people are those that show signs and symptoms and very very few become fatal victims and the majority are asymptomatic. If looking very closely there are sudden death that are arising from post covid infections. Most of us believe in GOD and it would be strange to see some people making lies in His name. Saulo is a markerter and we all know this. It could be he bribed this guy to starter telling people force prophecies after being well paid in realising that laz will not abide to his agreement of only saving for 2 years. Malawi politics is the game of regions not necessarily ideologies. To be honest the best performed party in malawi history is dpp and no question about it.
This is just political analysis. This is close to what I Think will happen.
Ya yayah! Very strange indeed. Who can dare to cross laz? Kamuzu relatives failed this while mcp was in opposition and how will this happen? All what can be seen is saulo’s dramma will never end. He’s no shame in using these prophets to score political points. Do you remember the 2019 fake political victory prophecy he claimed was passed by tb joshua? How this guy tells us that tonse is far much better than dpp and yet in it the zero aid has kissed good bye and insteady of being creative its busy shouting for help from the donors? This is going back to square 1 we already done with. Dpp are the masters of politics, they encouraged self reliance by switching to zero aid and proved to africa that with our meagre resources we are abled to run our affairs. We fully financed the two past polls and there are things we can proudly point that they came from our pockets. If there are institutions that abuse government funds are these religious men. Can you imagine how on earth can the government be responsible for paying the cham staff? Even their schools employees are paid by our taxes and yet these guys make alot of money. What do they do with the money they make? I’m not against GOD and I believe He is the creator of everything and everything is under His control. On nCov, are you serious we are done with it? If its the thing to test mcp, why does it affect all the nations? Its true yesterday alone malawi registered 22 new cases. Insteady of praying to GOD to stop this deadly virus you are busy campaigning and making your names popular.
Malawian prophets always want to make their names in politics. The truth is there will never be the best government for all than His own Kingdom to come. Don’t be cheated that since this government is led by a pastor then all is well, never. Have you ever heard the story of one, a late pastor chide whose spirit terrorized LL in 80s. I’m not trying to counter attack here nor to offend anyone. Let GOD be Him. You can as well preach the word of GOD here rather than always bringing the messages of doom. We also need nessages of real hope, not fake one.
Look now, this guy is too crying for donors, interesting, isn’t it?. It seems he does’t know our LORD blessed us with a leader who ran this country for good 3-4 years without donor funds and we were locked in deadly natural catastrophies for the entire term of apm and yet no 1 died of hunger and malnutrition admissions were lowered to the point of closing NRUs. The life span of an individual was raised to 60s. For those who fail to notice this blessing are really at greater loss. We thank GOD for that former 1st citizen because he is the great teacher whom we need to emulate.
